Americans can get an Online Visa to visit Kuwait by filing a form with their personal information and valid travel document information. The Kuwait Online visa is linked to your travel document (i.e., passport) and you must make sure that the information provided is an exact match to the information shown on the passport, which must be valid for at least 6 more months upon entering Kuwait. The Kuwait Online Visa is a single-entry visa and valid for 90 days.

US travelers who do not complete Kuwaiti exit procedures will pay a fine or can be imprisoned if they return and attempt to depart from the country.

How to apply for a Kuwait eVisa with an American passport?

The online visa application form for the Kuwait travel visa for US citizens takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.

In order to fill out and complete the form, applicants are required to fill out their personal details including passport details and details of your Kuwait visit.

Personal details such as full name, address, date of birth, passport number and nationality must be 100% accurate, so ensure that you double check all details before submitting your Kuwait eVisa application. The expiry date on your passport also needs to be valid for a minimum of six months as of your entry date to Kuwait. A copy of the biometric page of your passport must be attached with the application form.

Once your visa is approved by the Ministry of Interior of the State of Kuwait, your travel visa for Kuwait will be sent to you by email. This should then be printed, ready for presentation at Kuwait border control and must also be kept on your person throughout your visit.
